The Bridge

Connecting the Taylor Yard Park to the Rio del Los Angeles Park over the active railroad tracks (Metrolink trains come through there regularly) will be a pedestrian and wildlife bridge.

It will need to be approximately 23’ high, 120’ long and around 20” wide. Estimated cost: $5-30m.

It could be designed in varying degrees of complexity and costs, from a Highline-like formal construction to a more organic structure that might use rail ties for steps.
